NB For safety
reasons I require your dog to be responsive to basic commands, particularly
recall, which is vital for safety when walking off lead. It is something
I constantly practise with the dogs on our walks. After several months
of coming out with me, most dogs' recall will be significantly improved.
If your dog is not trained to walk to heel, then a harness
to control pulling may be used. This is an absolute necessity as when
inside the Royal Parks there are many occasions when the dogs must
be walked on the lead, such as when around deer and horses. Whilst
your dog's pulling may not be an issue for you on your own walks,
I walk up to four dogs on the lead and a dog that is pulling excessively
disrupts the pack, affects my handling and control of the dogs and
therefore puts the safety of the other dogs in jeopardy.
I am afraid I can not take out dogs that show any signs of aggression
either with other dogs or humans. |
